Robert Waugh
Chief Executive Officer

Robert is the scientist-turned-banker-turned-innovator behind Ubiquity.

With a Masters and PhD in the origins of matter post-Big Bang, Robert’s analytical prowess has led him from the particle accelerator to the trading floor.

Over two decades in finance, he has navigated diverse landscapes with unwavering commitment and unparalleled expertise. Along the way, he’s cultivated an international reputation for trustworthiness, and a dedication to delivering excellence in every endeavour.

Robert most recently ran the stablecoin desk at National Australia Bank where he was responsible for the first bank issued stablecoin to settle cross-border transactions.

Mandy Jiang
Chief Financial Officer

Mandy is a seasoned international banker and innovative problem-solver, thriving in dynamic environments and excelling in team-building and market expansion. With proven expertise in stakeholder management across regulatory landscapes, she is driven by a passion for growth and tangible outcomes.

After completing a Bachelor's in Engineering and a Master's in Commerce, Mandy swiftly ascended through the ranks at China Merchants Bank from graduate trainee to eventually General Manager. In 2004, she made history as CFO of the Shanghai World Expo Bureau, overseeing China's first municipal bond issuance of RMB 700 billion. Later, she joined Deutsche Bank Shanghai as General Area Manager.

Relocating to Australia in 2009, Mandy established the Sydney branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). After successfully building ICBC’s Australian business, Mandy moved to National Australia Bank as Head of the Asia Desk in 2013.

In 2017, Mandy co-founded Judo Bank, pioneering a fully cloud-based banking ecosystem – a global first for a fully licensed bank. With Mandy as Managing Director, Judo Bank's success led to a $2.5 billion valuation post a triumphant IPO in November 2021.

Seeking her next challenge, Mandy embarked on her journey as CFO at CloudTech Group, continuing her impactful involvement in the fintech realm.

Qiong Shan Zhang
Chief Operations Officer

Shan Zhang is a dedicated operations professional with extensive expertise in fintech and blockchain. With a solid foundation in data analytics, business analysis, and blockchain project analysis, she excels in driving operational excellence and process improvement.

Shan began her career as Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst at Pearson VUE, a pioneer in the computer-based testing industry. Here, she managed large-scale data analysis, crafted reports and dashboards, and conducted proximity analysis to optimise business locations. She also played a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing work processes, contributing to bid proposal analysis, and overall operational enhancements.

In her current role as Operations Manager at CloudTech Group, Shan is focused on team building, business analysis, and spearheading strategic development initiatives to fuel business growth and success.

Shan is nearing completion of a Master of Applied Finance with University of New South Wales, and holds a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from Deakin University, a Master of Social Work from Monash University, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Her diverse educational background enriches her analytical prowess and strategic thinking in the operational landscape.

Yeok Lee
Chief Compliance Officer

Yeok is a seasoned risk and compliance professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector across Australia and Asia Pacific. She currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at CloudTech Group, where she is responsible for overseeing and managing the organisation's compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.

Before joining CloudTech Group, Yeok held senior positions at ANZ Bank, Accenture, National Australia Bank (NAB) and KPMG, where she moved across KPMG’s Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Melbourne offices. During this impressive tenure she implemented the first Sarbanes-Oxley program for two top global banks in Asia, provided risk advisory services and outsourcing internal audit functions for leading international wealth management firms, regional banks, and government departments across Australia.  At ANZ Bank, Yeok was a Senior Manager for Operational Risk & Compliance, providing 'review and challenge' services within Group Risk and was a Project Lead for Regulatory Reporting which covered 26 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe and America. At Accenture, she led risk and compliance projects, including frameworks, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance. At NAB, she held multiple leadership roles, including Associate Director Compliance for Corporate & Institutional Banking.

Yeok is renowned for her ability to unite and inspire stakeholders throughout the organisation. She effortlessly engages everyone from the C-suite to clients, driving them towards common goals. Her management of large, multimillion-dollar projects on a global scale highlights her exceptional talent in juggling people, places, and processes.   What truly distinguishes Yeok is her unique combination of strategic vision, operational excellence, and emotional intelligence. She transforms bold ideas into reality by encouraging unified action among stakeholders.

Yeok is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) in Australia, a PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner and an APMG Change Management Practitioner. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Curtin University and an MBA (Executive) from the Australian Catholic University. With her diverse skills, strategic mindset, and extensive experience, Yeok is well-equipped to navigate the complex and evolving regulatory landscape of financial services and technology.

Gazi T K Addit
Assistant Marketing Manager

Gazi is a highly engaged marketing professional known for his passion for analysis and research. With a proven track record of enhancing client performance and offerings by 30%, Gazi demonstrates a strong work ethic coupled with proficiency in digital and live marketing, 'go-to-market' strategies, and executing campaigns targeted at investors and consumers. His specialised expertise lies within the blockchain and broader fintech industry.
